When does the master programme start ?
M1 will start on 26 September 2023 and M2 on 4 September 2023
What is the process for admission to the programme?
Admission takes place in two stages, after candidates have completed the online application form on the University website: (1) candidates’ applications are analyzed by the Jury; the (2) pre-selected candidates are invited to an interview.
I already have a master degree (or a Pharm.D), can I directly apply for M2?
Students with a degree obtained outside of the European Union cannot directly apply to M2 and must first validate the M1. However, in case they have significant professional experience in the industry, this experience may be taken into account for a direct application for M2. In that case, applicants must fill a VAPP file. Contact the Master’s manager first.
What is a VAPP file?
The VAPP is an accreditation of personal and professional experience that enables applicants to apply for a training programme without the required degrees, based on their experience. Students having a Bachelor degree or a EU Master 1 are not concerned by the VAPP.
What is the Curriculum UE?
The curriculum UE is the list of the teaching units of your BSc. or MSc. It is required for the application to the master.
What is the minimum level of English proficiency required to access the D2HP master?
B2 (Upper-intermediate). IELTS 6.5; TOEFL PBT 567; TOEFL iBT 90; Cambridge FCE; or equivalent.
English is not my mother tongue, but my bachelor was taught entirely in English. Do I need to provide an English proficiency certificate?
Students from international universities (education in English) must only provide a certificate from their university.
What should I put in the “document at my convenience” on the application site?
You should indicate your source of funding for the two years of master’s degree (tuition fees and living expenses).
Are the tuition fees the same for the M1 and M2 levels?
For EU students, tuition fees are identical in M1 and M2. For non-EU students, specific tuition fees apply in M1. In M2, the tuition fees are identical to those paid by EU students. See the “How to apply” page for complete information.
When will I receive an answer to my master’s enrollment request?
You will receive a response within two months following your application.
How can I apply to the Paris-Saclay scholarship?
Students do not directly apply for the Paris-Saclay (IDEX) scholarship. The jury selects the most excellent students among the admitted applicants (mid-April). These students are then invited to apply for the scholarship.
How can I apply for the Eiffel excellence scholarship?
You must first be accepted in the master. Then, the Jury decides if your application can be supported by the University. If you are selected, a master’s coordinator will help you complete the form and will transfer it to the University on your behalf. Don’t wait for the application website to open. The deadline for applying for the scholarship at the University is approximately one month before the official deadline. Contact the managers of the master. Can I take the master in the framework of the Erasmus programme?
Yes, but only for one year (M1 or M2).
Can I take M1 D2HP and then choose another M2 at Paris-Saclay?
Yes, if you validate your M1, you can choose to continue in another M2 at Paris-Saclay or elsewhere in France or in the EU.
What is the ECTS system?
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) express the volume of learning based on the defined learning outcomes and their associated workload. 60 ECTS credits are allocated to a full-time academic year, which normally comprises a number of educational components to which credits are allocated. To enter in M1, you must have validated 180 ECTS and to enter in M2, you must have 240 ECTS. More information can be found in the ECTS Users’ guide.
Are internships provided by the Master?
The Master is associated with research laboratories where students can apply for an internship. The coordinators of the master also receive internship offers which they give to the students.
Does the master offer PhD programmes?
The students may contact research labs and doctoral schools to look for opportunities. Financial support is mandatory (doctoral school, foundations, industry-academic partnership, national research agency, foreign grants, etc.). Self-financing is not acceptable.
